Uppena- a film of two young debutant Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, created another record. Yes! The film has garnered a whooping amount of TRP on its television premiere. The theatrical and the digital release of the film has tugged the heartstrings of people at the right time. With the impressive storyline, brilliant acting and outstanding songs the film ‘Uppena’ received applauds from the fans. That’s why the film has received over Rs 80 crore at the worldwide box office.
Not only just this, but ‘Uppana’ seems a long run horse and it proved that. Recently, when the movie was premiered on a television channel, it broke the record of Telegu film’s TRP on TV. It has received TRP of 18.5, which is a massive amount.
It is a story of two young lovers and the viewers love the chemistry between the actor from a film family and a girl from Kannada. It is a directorial debut of Buchi Babu Sana and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Also, Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film. Along with Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, the film features talented actors such as, Vijay Sethupathi, Sai Chand, Mahadevan and Rajeev Kanakala.
